Introduction

Treasure hunting sounds easy…

Find a treasure map, follow the clues, fight with the pirates, find the big red cross (X) and unearth the treasure chest. 

Not all hunting is stereotypical. There are different types of treasure hunting that included in this blog. 

This annotated bibliography will focus on children fiction novels, especially ages 9-12, that have treasure hunting as the main theme.
